Kristina "Kina" Svensson

Hi! My name is Kristina, but I am called Kina. I am 18 years old and I will become 19 in May. I am so sorry for my extremely bad English. I really hope that you can understand what I have written.

I am supposed to tell you about what youths do here when they are not in school.

I spend my time with my family, my boyfriend, friends and with my self. School is important and I want to have good grades so that I can continue to study in a University later. I believe that the most people in my age here are spending there spear-time almost in the same way as I do.

When I am not in school, I am with my boyfriend (Joel), my friends or at home. Bollnäs is not a very big town, so there are not many things to do here. I spend the most of my time in a Café, like the most of my friends does. Almost every day after school we are sitting there talking, laughing and drinking coffee. Often we talk about politics, movies, school and what we want to do with our lives. It probably sounds enormously boring, but it is really great. I can sit in a café for hours - and I am enjoying every second of it.

In the evenings I spend a lot of time watching telly and doing my homework. A thing I really like to do is reading a good book. I try to read as often as I can.

If I am not at home, with some friends or in a Café- then I am with Joel. I try to be with him as much as possible. I am rather with him then going to a party. I guess I am pretty boring in that way. My friends goes out to different parties pretty much, but I am just not that type.

A lot of youths are training some kind of sport, like football, handball, badminton, Kung Fu or Judo. There are many boys training in a gym after school and in the weekends, a few girls do that to. Personally I am kind of lazy; I do not exercise at all. Both boys and girls here are interested in sports. I think that football and "bandy" are the most popular sports in Bollnäs.

That is pretty much of what we are doing here. It would be fun to know what you do on your spear-time.
